Printing With Lightroom
The print is the punch line to the photographer’s process. Even in our digital age, a print we can hold in our hands shows us things about our work, and about others work, which no computer screen can ever translate. Every photographer strives to print something that’s memorable, that makes an impact, and that speaks to his or her audience, but the print is not the easiest step in our workflow. Printmaking is an art and craft all unto itself. Join our next Lightroom User Group meeting with Jason Bradley at Adobe in San Francisco on March 21st at 6:30PM. Jason will walk us through tricks for prepping images for print, how to use Lightroom’s Print Module, the basics of ICC color management, and he will lay out an array of photo papers from Hahnemühle to illustrate how paper choice is crucial in determining the style and feel of your final vision.
Jason Bradley is the owner and operator of Bradley Print Services, he is the author of the book Creative Workflow In Lightroom published by Focal Press, and is a nature and underwater photographer based in Pacific Grove, California. Jason also leads field expeditions, both underwater and above, around the world and teaches all aspects of digital photography and workflow. To find out more about Jason’s print services visit:
