Join NYEdTech MeetUp and Move This World for a night of discussion and networking centered around social-emotional learning (SEL).

Research shows that social-emotional learning programs not only lead to increased academic achievement but prepare students for future success in their lives and careers. SEL practices and resources strengthen students ability to respond to challenges, manage stress, resolve conflict and communicate effectively.

Throughout the evening, attendees will discover how classrooms across New York are prioritizing social-emotional learning and enjoy a panel discussion including representatives from four edtech organizations: Catalyst Arts, Flocabulary, Move This World and Newsela. Panelists will share their approaches to building SEL skills and equity through a variety of modalities, including engaging video, performance, and accessible online articles.

Light refreshments will be provided.
Cost: FREE!
