Girl Meets Civic Tech World (GMCTW) is a new professional networking event hosted by Civic Women. GMCTW is for college students, entry-level professionals, and individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in civic tech. Our goal is to provide attendees with invaluable advice and resources, which will help them make confident and informed career decisions.
We will have a panel discussion with established female professionals who represent various sectors of the technological world. As discussions come to a close, attendees will have an opportunity to engage in a Q&A session with our speakers.
We've left plenty of time for you to network with our guest speakers and your fellow attendees, so come prepared to make some new and exciting connections. Food and refreshments will be provided, courtesy of Civic Hall.

Civic Women is a female-driven inclusive community of technologists, entrepreneurs, politicos, and dreamers who aim to connect, educate, and inspire one another by using technology to impact public good. We don't tolerate discrimination and are open to members of all races, religions, gender identities and sexual orientations.
Built on the idea that together – technologists, government officials, community organizers, researchers, makers, social entrepreneurs, change-makers, hackers, academics, journalists, artists– we can organize to solve civic problems to scale.
