S C H E D U L E:

6:00 PM: Help Desk

Looking for some help with a stubborn WordPress issue that you just can’t figure out? Maybe you're an experienced developer and looking to just give back to the community. Maybe you just want to come down and hang out with other WordPress people.

All experience levels welcome. This is a give and get meetup, give some help and get back from others - even if you don't have much experience with WordPress.

Bring a laptop so that you can get online and participate.

7:00 PM: "GetSiteControl plugin" Presentation

GetSiteControl is a WordPress plugin helping content publishers engage with their website visitors the most efficient way at the most efficient time. We're trying to create a single tool that could fulfill the tasks several different plugins are typically used for. The main goal of this presentation is not just to give an overview of GetSiteControl, but rather to hear the community opinion about the problem we are trying to solve.

7:30 PM: "Building Plugins for WordPress Workshop"

Plugins are an essential part of WordPress. In this meetup we’ll cover basic plugin best practices as well as hooks and filters.  You’ll leave the workshop with a fully functioning plugin you can install on your site.
