It is time for some VR Gaming! This month we have an amazing group of demo’s and presenter’s representing the very best in VR gaming and VR arcades.  Hope to see everyone there!

Bracey Smith – Potential Synergy (Mythic Saber’s Match Quest)

Mythic Saber's Match Quest is the ultimate game of memory. Pair icons to complete stages, remember the order of stages to complete the levels.  No hands necessary, this game is controlled entirely by the player's attention.  Easy to learn, fun to play, challenging to master.

How good is your memory?  Available for Gear VR as of April 11th,  coming soon to Oculus Rift, Steam VR, and Google Daydream. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrMw0L8H6CI

Craig Herndon - Kung Fu: Shadow Fist

Kung Fu: Shadow Fist is a VR brawler reminiscent of old school beat ‘em ups such as Streets of Rage and Double Dragon. Use your fists to throw punches, block, and use weapons. Fight your way through the city and be on the lookout for punks, ninjas, and other cliché 80’s era baddies who have taken over the city and kidnapped your gender neutral significant other!

Dane Jennings - Catapult Games (Don’t Look Down)

Catapult Games is a VR game development company out of Upstate New York. It was founded upon the realization that VR has incredible potential for video games, but that VR gamers aren’t getting the kinds of quality games that they crave. Catapult Games’ first title is Don’t Look Down, a VR climbing game inspired by games like Super Mario Bros. for their creative level design and ability to be enjoyed by players of all skill levels. With the game design strengths of those classics combined with intuitive controls that avoid the motion sickness pitfalls of other VR games, Don't Look Down is gearing up to be the next big thing in virtual reality! Ilya Polokhin & Adam May – Hubneo (Motion Simulator)

The Hubneo Virtual Reality Lab in LES Manhattan provides a space for people to immerse themselves in virtual worlds using state of the art VR equipment and unique motion simulation systems.  Hubneo's long term goal is to provide people with the most advanced and immersive experiences of new worlds possible only through VR. We also strive to create the most realistic simulations of real world environments as recreated in the virtual landscape.  Through our work with VR, Hubneo's focus is centered around encouraging social interaction, collaboration, and personal achievement.

Hubneo will be presenting their newest 3 Degrees of Freedom Simulator with fully moving cockpit. It is powered by super fast 150mm stroke SCN5 actuators with max speeds of 400 mm/s. This 3DOF rig is optimal for high precision racing. We will be racing in Project Cars 2: visually stunning game with ultra-realistic motion.

Jason Parks - ROTU

ROTU Entertainment provides an in-depth introduction to an exclusive music education game called Rhythm of the Universe. The concept, five years in the making, comes from a unique perspective of three factors: music, mythology, and history. For example, music symbols, instruments, and theory become characters, creatures, and ecosystems. www.rotu.com

Jump Into The Light -

Jump Into The Light will be presenting art from their Artists In Residence including: Misha Tyutyunik, Efrain Aguilar, Melissa McDonald, Tiger, Carrie Able.

Melissa McDonald describes her experience with the program as follows: "I stumbled upon Jump Into The Light when they first opened up and became immediately fascinated by Tilt Brush, a virtual painting software. I started as part of the artist in residence program, experimenting with the program, eventually coming up with the idea to create a virtual music video. I created Congruence to go with a song I recorded with my friend Noah Levinson. After I completed this project, Tiger Kneller approached me to make paintings for her poetry. I paint with my intuition, not following any particular order or predetermined concept to go by beforehand. This approach has given me the freedom to create as I please, often leading me to new discoveries about myself and the program."

Play over and over again to discover all of the hidden parts of each room and experiment with the vast combinations of interactive objects and traps. Prove who is the best spy among you!"

Gates Of Nowhere is a Fantasy/Horror adventure in Virtual Reality for Vive & Oculus (WMD coming soon). You will be projected in a huge fantasy dungeon filled with awful and dangerous creatures. You must find the way out revealing at the end the mystery behind your journey.
