**Info Session**

This week we will be holding a information sessions for anyone interested in learning more about Founders & Coders. The evening will have two sections:

• Informal introduction from alumni and current students about their experiences on the bootcamp.

• Q&A session. Please come with questions!

If you want to come for the normal Coding for Everyone meetup described below, there will be a separate space for this alongside the info session.

____________

Come and join us for our evening meetup in Islington! Participate in any one of a number of peer-led JavaScript coding activities, including:

• Free Code Camp (https://www.freecodecamp.com/) projects

• Solving and creating Codewars (https://www.codewars.com/) katas

• Founders & Coders prerequisites (https://foundersandcoders.com/apply/prerequisites/)

• You are also welcome to work on anything else you'd like!

This meetup is for everyone who wants to learn to code. Beginners are very welcomed (and highly encouraged!). During the meetup, we encourage participants to work together with another meetup attendee on one laptop (pair programming). Students from the current and previous cohorts of Founders & Coders will be available for questions and support.

Laptops will be provided, but we encourage participants to bring their own if possible!

Please follow the Founders & Coders Code of Conduct (https://github.com/codingforeveryone/code-of-conduct):

Our community is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment of community members in any form. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event and any future events, as well as from the community itself.

This event is sponsored by Islington Council and hosted at Space4 in Finsbury Park, a space dedicated to bringing together like-minded organisations in their aim to harness technology for social good and social change. It is supported by Outlandish, a non-hierarchical worker cooperative that builds data-driven web applications and re-invests its profit democratically in positive social change, and by the CoTech Network, a network of digital worker co-ops building a tech industry that's better for its workers and customers through co-operation, democracy and worker ownership.
