Since our first summer party was sold out... we thought, why not hold a second one? It's still summer after all (well.... ish!).  Introducing.... Bloomerama - a new networking series featuring Women in Food. We are happy to team up with the Female Foodpreneur Collective, run by Ashanti Bentil-Dhue. At our inaugural event, we will be sharing more information about our new workspace and members club Blooms, which will be opening just next door to the event location on October 2nd. Please join us for an relaxed networking evening discovering interesting women-led food businesses (brands to be announced soon). One welcome drink is included in the ticket.  As always, this event has been created for women, but is open to all genders (and we mean that!). 


THE AGENDA:

6.00pm - Doors open: enjoy food & drinks

7.00pm - Welcome by Lu Li and Ashanti Bentil-Dhue.

7.10pm - Introduction to Blooms, London's first business club for female founders and the future of Blooming Founders by Lu Li.

7.30pm - Mingling, networking, more food & drinks.

9pm - Close


THE SPEAKER:

Lu Li is the founder of Blooming Founders, a company that is building a scalable support infrastructure designed to help grow businesses founded by women. We provide education and introduce new opportunities to female founders through events, content and a global professional network with over 1600 members.

Lu is the UK ambassador of Women's Entrepreneurship Day, a judge at the MassChallenge accelerator, a mentor at the Google Launchpad accelerator and part of the Techstars community leadership team. She has also published the book Dear Female Founder, now globally available on Amazon and Kindle.

In her previous corporate career, Lu has launched FMCG products for Procter & Gamble across Western Europe and has worked on several consulting projects for McKinsey, BMW and T-Mobile. 


THE CO-HOST:

Ashanti Bentil -Dhue is the founder of Female Foodpreneur Collective and Nourish w/Ashanti. She is an experienced Business Consultant, Virgin Start Up Mentor, Podcast Host with a background in the finance and food industry.
