This is an informal, practical, hands on workshop for beginners to Power BI. We’ll look at how much people in different countries drink  – and how long they live; investigate why passengers survived or perished on the Titanic; analyse the text of a BBC News article; and, if time allows, visualise the risk and revenue of a (fictitious) bank.

This is a hands-on workshop with plenty of opportunity to practice. Each of the examples will start with a quick 5-minute intro and demo then there will be a guided exercise for about 20 minutes.

Bring your own laptop. I'll send joining instructions a week before the event - instructions how to download and install the (free) Power BI and links to some public datasets that we'll use in the exercises

This is an overflow event for  Oct 4th - however that event is now nearly full so we've added this (earlier) event  on Sep 18th.
